In our search for the penultimate summertime sensation, we looked high and low to come up with hand-crafted, locally sourced, and always delicious, creamy ice cream. Then we found Guernsey Farms Dairy ice cream, a third-generation family-owned Michigan company that crafts small batches of award-winning ice cream.

Bold Bloody Marys, Champagne, Big Porch Ale, and lemonade shakers are only a few of the crisp and refreshing beverages or pre-dinner cocktails awaiting you on the world’s longest porch.

As described by Norman Iger, The Golden Age of popular music began prior to World War I and blossomed from the 1920s through the early 1950s. It was defined by a mood and style filled with rhythm and romance — and with memorable, melodic, literate music.

Baroque is Grand Hotel’s newest bar, a refined and elegant space adjacent to the iconic Parlor of the hotel. Designed by the legendary Dorothy Draper & Company, the reimagined space evokes the glamour of old New York through a vibrant palette of emerald green, deep red, black, and gold, along with detailed lattice work and high-gloss finishes.

Up in the air, above it all, the crown of our grand lady features not only spectacular panoramic views of the Straits of Mackinac but also some of the finest and most creative cocktails at Grand Hotel. From this perfect pre- or post-meal perch, our mixologists feature classics and concoctions from Manhattan to Montego Bay.
