Gather together with family and friends on the Grand lawn. Surrounded by the lush Grand Hotel Gardens, our expansive lawn is the picture-perfect setting for summer pastimes like oversized lawn games, cornhole, and other classics. Croquet is a popular favorite, where you can easily imagine what it was like to play here back when our doors opened in 1887!

All equipment is provided free of charge throughout the day and is available on a first-come, first-served basis in the Tea Garden, next to the swimming pool.

The lawn is also a great place to relax or stretch your legs. Spectators can sit on nearby benches to watch the friendly competitions or take advantage of some great photo opportunities next to the Tea Garden’s stone fountain and topiaries.
